Communities Organizing Against Racism
COAR (Communities Organizing Against Racism) is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to promoting education and action to address the impacts of systemic racism in our communities.
Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 6 - 7:45 p.m.
Concord Free Public Library, 129 Main Street, Concord
Community members from diverse backgrounds will share their stories of living, working, and attending school in Concord and Carlisle, and will show how sharing and listening with openness builds solidarity. We will discuss how everyone has multiple aspects to their identity, which may lead to privilege or discrimination. The evening will end with small-group discussion, where participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and learn how to have conversations with each other that honor and celebrate differences.
Check out our monthly newsletter for community events in Concord, Boston and surrounding communities.
